Welcome to the newupdated version of chatterislinks.co.uk.

This is a site that has evolved from a place to put some links from my own genealogy to the definitive site on Chatteris.

I hope that those of you interested in anything related to the town or your own genealogy will find it useful.

Please bear in mnd this is a self-funded site, researched by myself with greatful contributions from all over the world, sometimes we get it wrong, mostly we get it right and with this in mind I am welcome to accept information on the history or general aspects of Chatteris

I also get a huge amount of requests such as "Do you know where Freds grandfather was born in 1873" - Please be patient, I may be able to find the answer but not always

I have also added some extra features such as the Jobs page and an advertisement area for promoting companies, clubs and institutes within the town, please use the Contact page for requesting advertising information

Whilst it will take time to sort out the pages I will try to keep the page layout similar so although you may come across odd links that may not work at the time please be patient and all will become sorted.

I will also be looking at adding some slideshows to the site of pictures such as this one in progress entitled Chatteris In The 1900's iso if there is anything specific please let me know via the CONTACT PAGE
